Radio Harrow’s Double Win at National Awards

Tuesday, 2nd April 2019

Radio Harrow has scooped two prizes at the 2019 Hospital Broadcasting Association Awards, held in Stoke-on-Trent last Saturday. (30th March)

Monday evening presenter David Stone claimed silver in the Best Newcomer category, while the Wednesday evening edition of the daily magazine show ‘Harrow Today’ took gold for Best Programme with Multiple Presenters.

Wednesday evening manager Tony McNab said;
“To win was completely unexpected. It’s awesome that the hard work the entire team puts in every week has been recognised nationally. I couldn’t ask for a better team.” While newcomer David added;
“I’m chuffed to bits to be recognised for my work at Radio Harrow. It has been part of my recovery from mental ill health and I cannot thank the team around me enough for their support over the last year.”

David can be heard on Monday nights from 7pm, while Harrow Today airs weeknights from 9pm on radioharrow.org
