Condolences
Such sad news to hear of Vic's passing. I have known Vic for many years, meeting him initially during his second stint as a volunteer at Radio Harrow, having been involved during the early years and returning some time later. Vic served on the Committee at the station and was a great source of knowledge for the roles that he filled.
Outside of the Committee, at social events, I would often have conversations with him about his career at the BBC and his job pre-retirement as a Station Assistant at Harrow on the Hill station. He had many anecdotes about the commuters a general goings on at Harrow on the Hill and some witty railway themed rhymes that can't be repeated here!
