Condolences
When I joined Thursdays at Radio Northwick Park 22 years ago, Vic took me under his wing.
Although I had done a little radio before, Vic trained me up and my first ever show was a 'two-part' tribute to Elvis that Vic let me host during his 'Dixieland Country Show'.
It's Vic's guidance, support and dedication, that I was able to begin a regular show every Sunday, that I still host today.
It is thanks to my early days with Vic at Radio Northwick Park that resulted in my career in radio today. Thank you Vic.
It's so sad though, it's the end of an era. Vic was such a good mentor to so many.
Our minds will be full of good memories of Vic, someone who truly cared about radio, music and people. May he rest in peace. 🙁
